Sold Out Event Demonstrates Growth, Impact of Regional Hispanic Business Community
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (HCCMO) celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a special reception at Mango's Tropical Café, and hosted its 8th annual Hispanic Business Conference at the Rosen Shingle Creek Orlando. With the theme "The Power of NEXT," the Central Florida business community experienced two days packed featuring nine business workshops, Supplier Diversity Matchmaking Session and Speed Networking, business breakfast and luncheon. Ismael Cala, Life & Business Strategist, Author, and International Speaker, gave a keynote presentation that empowered the nearly 400 attendees with his presentation on Mindful Exponential Leadership.
The event concluded on Friday, August 17 with a dynamic Speed Networking session and a successful Supplier Diversity Matchmaking Session. More than 70 minority business owners had the opportunity to present their products and services to participating corporate buyers during the one-on-one meetings. Over 200 matches were made between diverse suppliers and large corporations.
