ORLANDO, FL.—December 7, 2017— The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (HCCMO) announced that it has begun a search for a new chamber president. This is in light of Frank Lopez’s announcement earlier this fall that he would resign as HCCMO President at the end of this year.

After a competitive bid process, the search committee selected Central Florida-based VACO Orlando, a senior-level executive placement firm, to help find a new leader.

During the search, Lourdes Mola, of Lourdes Mola Solutions and former HCCMO board chair, is serving as interim president.

“Vaco Orlando is committed to finding the perfect candidate that will build on the Chamber’s legacy, securing its long-term success for our members, and solidifying the Chamber’s position as the main advocate for the Central Florida Hispanic business community,” said Karla Muniz, chair of the board of directors for the HCCMO. “As we undertake the important task of seeking a new president, the board has absolute confidence in our interim president, Lourdes Mola, as she is an experienced leader with deep knowledge of our organization and the community.”
