Mola, manager of the Minority Business Development team for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, and Giorgina Pinedo-Rolon, president & CEO of Gio Communications, as the honorary event Co-Chairs for the 16th annual LATINA Style Business Series, which will be held in Orlando, Florida on May 15, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Disney's BoardWalk Resort.
The LATINA Style Business Series is part of the largest and most successful business development program for Latina entrepreneurs in the nation. Since its launching in 1998, the program has visited over 110 cities across the nation with over 31,000 Latina entrepreneurs participating. The program's emphasis is on creating a solid business foundation for the Latina entrepreneur.
Lourdes has enjoyed a progression of leadership roles in her 18-year career with Walt Disney World including the launch of Disney Cruise Line, exciting tenures with Disney Fairy Tale Weddings, Disney Event Group and Disney Resorts Sales prior to joining the Minority Business Development team in 2011. Her primary responsibility is to establish strategic relationships with multicultural organizations to promote the Disney Brand. Lourdes is an active member of the community serving as a leader on a number of boards. Giorgina worked for Walt Disney World for nine years as a Merchandise Buyer. Afterwards, she served as director of Production and Public Relations and TV host for Telemundo Orlando for nine years. She later became the chief editor for Casiano Communications. Giorgina's communications agency focuses on government affairs, public relations, Hispanic outreach, and media buying and marketing. Giorgina is the Chair of the Board of Director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Orlando. "I am honored to be part of such a wonderful event," states Pinedo-Rolon.
